The project was shortlisted for the TDV x NL exhibition at the Netherlands Embassy in Delhi, where I showcased it to the ambassador and visitors.






Context

The project aimed to create a cohesive iconography system representing Dutch culture while aligning with the Netherlands’ contemporary visual identity. Inspired by the national rebrand by Studio Dumbar, the work explored themes such as canals, music, and farming through a consistent visual language.

Design Approach

Icons use positive and negative space to reveal layered meanings. Patchwork-inspired forms were translated into appliqué and chain-stitch embroidery, merging Dutch minimalism with Indian craft traditions.

A revitalized gift collection expressing Dutch identity through simple, narrative-driven icons.
